General Wildlife Management
This option is for landowners who want to either manage for biodiversity or for a specific species, such as deer, quail, bats to control mosquito populations, or even songbirds.
Deer Resistant Plants
Deer are so fun to watch, though they become less fun and more infuriating when they are munching on our landscaping. Incorporating deer resistant plants into your landscaping will help mitigate the damage caused by a roving herd of deer.
No plant is completely deer resistant. If they are hungry enough, they will eat anything. Urban populations of deer are especially nuisances as they are used to being fed from feeders and neighbors who want them in the area. When the food source goes away, they then turn to our landscape plants. It’s best not to feed wildlife of any kind, as it knocks the ecosystem out of balance.
